ArmA Mark 2 by Binkster
This is an old mission from Toadlife from back in the OFP days. All scripting and idea's are his. Mr. Burns Converted this over to ArmA and now I converted to ArmA2 with a few small changes.
For those who did not use this in ArmA, this little mission will give us a good idea on which systems run ArmA2 the best.
I suggest a standard on settings
Everything on Normal and Fillrate should be 100%. View distance doesnt matter since the mission will automatically set this.
First You should Post specs You can just copy and paste what I have and place your own specs. I only think CPU, Ram, GPU, and the operating system is important we can leave the rest out.
If you want to try it on High as well go ahead and post the settings and scores.
I suggest posting a screenshot of your score to prove your scores.

ArmA Mark 2 spreadsheet of results . very interesting.
I have learned that the ArmA Mark2 score is an average frame rate multiplied by 100.
with that knowledge, I am going to strive to get at least 3000 score for my system, so an average of 30 fps.
looking at others results, I see that I will need my Core2Duo E7400 CPU ( 2.8 ) and I will try to buy the GTX 260-216 GPU.
I plan to O.C. my CPU from 2.8 to (hopefully) 3.4
I am confident if I do these things I will achieve my goal.
Making comparisons on the spreadsheet and taking a guess, I bet my score can reach 4000!
I will let you know my game performance in a couple of weeks.
*edit* I suspect based on BIS forum posts and info in the spreadsheet that SLI is not working as it should in ArmA2.
Im sure they will address it in a future patch.
Re: ArmA Mark 2 by Binkster
BUT it seems the Micro AI is VERY CPU intensive and in some scenarios (lots of AI + Urban combat) the game stutters in SP on my Q6600 2,4Ghz... so beware...
I think 3Ghz is a Must... Dual or Quad.
